If scheduling difficulties prevented a "TankSure®"
test on your oil tank during your home inspection, you can still contact one of
the oil companies participating in the
TankSure® program.
TankSure® provides an
ultrasonic test of above ground oil tanks. If your oil tank passes the
test and you take part in the program, there are benefits such as a tank
replacement warrantee and possible reductions in homeowner insurance. To
