| See how easy it is to
follow and read our checklist page. There are 10 major systems and their
components that the state of Connecticut requires home inspectors to inspect.
At the beginning of each major system, we have inserted the portion of the
Connecticut Standards that detail what the inspector is required to inspect,
describe and what is not required. For most components you will see the
abbreviations "NIA, CA, FE, M, NP AND NRA." These abbreviations guide you
as to what action (if any) is recommended. Example: NIA stands for "No
Immediate Action" and CA stands for "Corrective Action." The abbreviations and
their definitions can be viewed on each of the bottom left side pages (the
"Reference
Page.")
You will find checked boxes and if need be, additional comments describing
the component and its condition.
When there are related
topics in the Appendix,
the "See Appendix Section..." box is checked. |
