About Us
In the Beginning:
Marvin
Schaefer
Marvin H. Schaefer (Z”L), of blessed memory, passed away
on May 24, 2012. Together with his son Bruce, Marvin began
M.H. Schaefer Inspection Service more than 30 years ago. The
business was created as Bruce and Marvin recognized the
value of their combined experience in building and
remodeling structures, and their capability to help
homebuyers be well-informed investors. Marvin developed a
reputation for careful, all-inclusive service extending
beyond the inspection. Agents and buyers enjoyed his
reliable expertise and ever-present good humor during each
inspection. With son Bruce now at the helm, Schaefer
Inspection Service will continue to be dedicated to quality,
proficient and consistent service that only a family-owned
business can offer from generation to generation.
All of our inspectors come from a construction
background. This gives our inspectors and edge others may
not have in determining the significance of any given issue
found during the inspection. There is a world of difference
between classroom education and hands-on experience with
evaluating the intricacies of all the various types of home
construction. Our inspectors have both. All of our
inspectors are engaged in on going continuing education in
home systems and components and how to inspect them. All of
this knowledge and experience gives us the ability to
thoroughly inspect a house based on its individual
characteristics.
